Congratulations are in order for Denmark’s Victoria Kjaer Theilvig!
The blonde bombshell shined all through the competition. She began with the Preliminary Competition. She proved the European nation has what it takes to stand out. She stood out in front of 124 other countries to nab the top spot.
Victoria represented Denmark in Miss Grand International 2022 where she placed in the Top 20.
SHe is going home with the coveted named: Lumiere De L’Infini.
The crown’s unveiling was attended by various prominent figures. These included Palacios, Raul Rocha, who is the president and founder of Miss Universe, and Anne Jakrajutatip. She is the executive director and founder of JKN Global Group Public Limited, the conglomerate that owns the pageant. Details about the ‘Lumiere De L’Infini’
The crown was designed by Jewelmer, a Philippine jeweler, who is working with Miss Universe for the first time. The crown was made by hand using traditional techniques. It features a rare golden pearl, which is the national gem of the Philippines.
It features 23 golden pearls that evoke the feeling of beauty over the ocean.
According to news outlet ABS-CBN, the beauty queen is also an entrepreneur. She started an eyelash extension business at the age of 16.
“I love to connect with my customers, I love to make them feel at home. If there’s something in their heart they want to share, I’m always there to listen. For me, that’s such a wholesome experience while being creative.”
She considers herself a creative person with three advocates. These are animal protection, mental health, and volunteer work.
“To be able to win the crown for Denmark will mean everything to me. This is what I have been working on my whole life. I want to make history for Denmark. We haven’t had a Miss Universe [crown] before. I also want to make history for Europe.”
Theilvig said that she wishes to show the world Europe’s potential in pageantry. She believes Europe can match the world in this realm.
The former professional dancer said she has also been preparing a lot to achieve her life-long dream.
“I have been traveling the whole world to prepare for this final moment. I believe we need to bring a little of something from everywhere. This way, I will get a 360-degree package for the Miss Universe.” She just celebrated her 21st birthday a few days ago during the rehearsals for the finals night.
